Suspect entered bank and went directly to the teller station, verbally demanding money. Very calm and soft spoken, displaying no sense of urgency. Placed money in a red cloth bag, exited through front entrance, fled on foot.

Male, black, 35 – 40 hears, 5’8″ – 5’10″, 185 – 200 lbs.; wore long-sleeve white shirt without collar, gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, light gray baseball cap with yellow peak, jeans, tennis shoes; black bandana held over lower half of face; carried red cloth bag with the letters “A”, “B”, and what appears to be “O” on the front.

ALLEGHENY VALLEY BANK, Parkway Center Mall, Greentree, PA, Thursday, 09/27/2007, approximately 5:00PM.

M.O.
Lone white male entered the bank shortly before closing, approached a teller, and orally demanded specific denominations of bills.  Put money in a black shoulder bag.  Stated several times he would shoot the teller, but no weapon was actually displayed.  On his way out of the bank, said “Sorry for the inconvenience.”  (After leaving bank, he may have been responsible for spreading roofing nails on driveway leading from bank.)

Description
Male, white, late 30′s, about 5’8,” medium build, unshaven, bandage or “Breathe-right” strip over bridge of nose; wearing tan ball cap with logo over the bill, black long-haired wig, black sunglasses, black knee-length coat, black pants.  Had each of his fingers taped with duct tape.

Suspect entered the branch and approached the side of the teller line. The teller had a customer and there were several customers in the branch. He passed a plastic shopping bag and made verbal demands. No weapon was shown, but a customer claims he saw a weapon on the suspect’s hip. The suspect positioned himself out of range of the cameras which indicates he may have cased the branch previously. Very calm demeanor.

Male, white, late 20’s to early 30’s, 6’0″ or taller, about 180 lbs.; long black hair to middle of back (which was probably a wig), white mask made of T-shirt material, dark tassel cap, sunglasses, tan pants, beige winter jacket.
