Bank Robberies
Based upon photos and m.o., it is believed that all of the above bank robberies were committed by the same person. At least 8 robberies have occurred between 04/12/2006 and 02/23/2007 across western Pennsylvania. Banks have been robbed in New Castle, Zelienople (#1), Zelienople (#2), Waynesburg, Grove City, Clarion (#1), Dubois, and Clarion (#2). M.O.
Approaches teller and displays demand note (however, he keeps and takes it with him). Sometimes orally threatens a weapon and sometimes gestures toward waistband as if reaching for weapon, but no weapon actually shown. In some robberies, has been verbally abusive and has used profanity toward the teller. On one occasion, he punched a female teller in the chest.

Description
Male, white (often described as Hispanic-looking), early 30’s to early 40’s, approximately 5’7” – 5’9”, average build, dark hair, usually a mustache, always wears sunglasses. On 2 occasions, wore clothing with “Cleveland Browns” logos.

Lone white male approached teller and displayed demand note. Told teller to “Hurry up”. Also told her he used to work in a bank. Fled in unknown direction. No weapon displayed.

Male, white (Hispanic-looking), 5’6″ – 5’8″, medium build, mustache, light-colored ball cap, sunglasses, brown and orange “Cleveland Browns” jacket, blue jeans, black-soled shoes, gloves.

Lone white male stood in line, approached teller, said he wanted to cash a check. Gave teller a note written on thin cardboard that demanded money. Also made oral demand. No weapon shown. Last seen walking northbound from bank.

Lone white male presented demand note to teller and also orally demanded money (kept note and took it with him). Note said he had a gun, but no weapon actually displayed. After getting money from first teller, demanded money from adjacent teller also. Put money in coat pocket and fled in unknown direction.

Male, white, 35 – 40 years, 5’5″ – 5’6″, medium build, dark brown or black hair, unshaven with salt & pepper goatee; wore dark tinted sunglasses, dark-colored “Cleveland Browns” ball cap, dark brown nylon or suede jacket zipped up, light-colored pants, black thermal-type gloves.

Lone Hispanic male passed robbery note. After displaying note to teller, he took it back. Threatened a gun, but did not actually display one. When the teller did not immediately respond, he became verbally abusive, using profanity. He also reached inside his front pants pocket, gesturing as if reaching for a gun. Took the money in his hands and exited the bank.

Lone white male briefly showed robbery note, then kept it. Said he had a weapon, but none was shown. Was verbally and physically abusive to victim teller, calling her a “bitch”, and then actually punching her in the chest when he became agitated.

Male, white, late 20′s to 30’s, 5’8″ – 5’10″, stocky build, dark complexion (Hispanic or Mediterranean in appearance), dark hair; blue baseball cap, blue jacket, light-colored shirt, light-colored work pants (possibly blue, but lighter than jacket), dark sunglasses.
