Bank Robberies
Based upon photos and m.o., it is believed that all of the above bank robberies were committed by the same person. At least 11 robberies have occurred between 04/12/2006 and 03/12/2008 across western Pennsylvania. Banks have been robbed in New Castle (#1), Zelienople (#1), Zelienople (#2), Waynesburg, Grove City, Clarion (#1), Dubois, Clarion (#2), Butler Township, Butler, and New Castle (#2). M.O.
Approaches teller and displays demand note (however, he keeps and takes it with him). Sometimes orally threatens a weapon and sometimes gestures toward waistband as if reaching for weapon, but no weapon actually shown. In some robberies, has been verbally abusive and has used profanity toward the teller. On one occasion, he punched a female teller in the chest. In a robbery on 09/07/2007, fled in a 1996-1999 silver Ford Taurus.
Description
Male, white (sometimes described as Hispanic-looking), early 30’s to early 40’s, approximately 5’7” – 5’9”, average build, dark hair, usually a mustache, always wears sunglasses. On 2 occasions, wore clothing with “Cleveland Browns” logos.
